Pravartana 2024, first year classes inaugurated at KPR CAS
KPR College of Arts Science and Research organised PRAVARTANA 2024.The motto of the function was to welcome the first year students (2024-2025) and motivate them to adopt to the college environment for developing the academic and life skills.
Dr. P. Geetha, Principal, KPRCAS welcomed the gathering with her everlasting energy. Dr. K.P. Ramasamy, Chairman, KPR Group presided over the function and assured that the students must be placed in all the reputed fields not only through the education but also through the a lot of opportunities would be provided by the institution. His speech highlighted a valid point that only through education; a good society would be created.
Mrs. Gayathri Anandakrishnan, Secretary, KPRCAS felicitated the gathering who encouraged the students to lift up confidence to reach their goals. The Chairman honoured the Chief Guest with a memento as a token of appreciation.
Mr.V.Nandakumar, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax was the Chief Guest of the day who gave an excellent meaning of the title of the event, Pravartana. He congratulated the students for selecting a right platform, KPRCAS which would will be ready to transform them as great personalities. He advised the students to learn multilingual. He emphasized the value of funds, especially IMF. He stressed that there was no barrier for learning even though if anyone was affected by physical impairment. He emphasized a valid point that as A.P.J.Kalam had quoted that education only would transform you all as great personalities in your chosen fields within 2030. He ended his speech with a message that you all today won yourselves to become great personalities.
The Principal introduced all the Deans, HODs and, Heads of Research, International Affairs, Admission, Placement, Librarian and Physical Directors. The State and District Level Rank Holders in HSC Examinations (2024), Professional Examination Achievers and Sports Achievers who have been honoured with awards of appreciation and certificates. The newly joined students and parents gave positive feedback that the reason of joining at KPRCAS. Their expectations were to experience a value of real education with personality development at KPRCAS.

Dr. P. Sharmila, Dean, School of Computing Science and Students Affair who explained the rules and regulations of the college and also the achievements of their departments and Students Welfare Club.
Dr. K. Kumuthadevi, Dean, School of Commerce and Academics who highlighted the importance of joining Professional Coaching Wing and achievers of CA,CMA and CS and KPR IAS Academy.
The HODs Heads, Faculty Members and around 4,500 first Year students including their parents graced the function and got benefitted.
