PSG College of Arts and Science Alumni Meet held at Chennai
PSG College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Meet was held in Chennai.
The alumni reunion of PSG College of Arts and Science, a part of the prestigious PSG Educational Institutions in Coimbatore, was held at the MMA Hall on Anna Salai in Chennai. The reunion, held under the guidance of PSG Educational Institutions’ Managing Trustee, L. Gopalakrishnan, was conducted grandly. Hundreds of alumni excelling in various fields participated in this reunion and shared their experiences.
Dr. Kannaiyan, the Secretary of PSG College of Arts and Science, and Dr. T. Brinda, the Principal of the college, attended this event. During the reunion, elections were held for the leaders of the Chennai chapter of the PSG College of Arts and Science Alumni Association. N. Venkatesh was selected as the President, and C.K. Kumaravel was selected as the Secretary.
This event brought the PSG family and its alumni closer together. The contribution of alumni to the growth of PSG Educational Institutions was discussed during the reunion. The Secretary of the college announced a plan to reserve five percent of admissions for alumni during the student intake process.
Former Principal Dr.Sheela Ramachandran, former Presidents of the Alumni Association Dr. R. Nandagopal, T. Rajkumar, and committee member Ramanujam attended the event. Film actor Nizhalgal Ravi was the special guest, who humorously shared an interesting dance event he participated in during his college days at PSG. He mentioned that he was suspended from college for a week for performing in a glamorous female role on stage. He also shared that the Principal who suspended him later recommended him for another dance event at a different college, and he shared that experience while singing the song.
