Following the launch of the Meteor 350 in the Indian market, Royal Enfield is now developing a new range of motorcycles, which is expected to be launched in 2021.
Off-roading and road-based Royal Enfield the Himalayan recently tested a prototype. Now the Hunter 350 is part of the company’s plan. It has a clear vision. The new motorcycle is built on the same platform as the Meteor 350. Its engine is similar to the engine of a motorcycle.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 J-Platform with 349cc engine produces 22 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. The company may offer a 5-speed gearbox with this engine. The test video shows that the new motorcycle reaches a speed of 0-100 km / h. No official information has been released yet, but it is believed that the new motorcycle will weigh much less than the Meteor 350.
As we’ve seen before on the 2021 models Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Himalayan, the Hunter 350 also comes with a semi-digital console and tripper navigation system. Speculations are rife that the Hunter 350 will be the most affordable motorcycle in this segment.
When launched in India, the new bike will compete with the Honda CB350RS, Java Standard 300, Java Forty Two, and Benelli Imperial. The initial ex-showroom price of this bike in the country is estimated at Rs 1.70 lakh.
