Rs.1.25 crore bills have been collected at Anaimalai Masaniyamman temple
Thousands of devotees visit the Anaimalai Masaniyamman Temple on New Moon days. Meanwhile, millions of devotees flocked to the Gundam festival which was held from the 1st to the 19th of last month. At this stage 22 permanent bills are kept in the temple premises for the devotees to pay their tributes.
The bill was opened and the counting took place. Devotees and volunteers were involved in this work. Among the permanent bills were Rs 1 crore 36 lakh 473, gold 372.150 grams and silver 2.57 kg.
Temple Assistant Commissioner Karunanidhi, Thekkampatti Vanapathrakaliamman Temple Assistant Commissioner Harsini, Perur Goods Inspector Geetha, Annur Goods Inspector Mallika, Temple Superintendent Tamilvanan and Loganathan were present on the occasion.
