School Leaders Conclave Organized by Private School Principals Association
The Private School Principals Association (PSPA) organized a highly anticipated School Leaders Conclave at Gokulam Park Hotel, Coimbatore, on June 1, 2024. The event brought together 120 Directors, Principals, Vice-Principals, Co-ordinators and Teachers from various CBSE and Matric schools across Coimbatore, Erode, Thirupur, and Namakkal districts, aiming to discuss and enhance academic excellence in schools.
Mr. Rajendra Prasad, President of PSPA, kicked off the conclave with a warm welcome address, setting a positive tone for the day.
Dr. B. Thiagarajan, Joint Registrar of IIT Palakkad, Kerala, delivered the keynote address on “Accelerating Academic Excellence in Schools,” providing valuable insights and strategies to improve academic standards.
Mr. Girish Eswaran, Principal of PSG Public School and President of Kovai Sahodaya Schools Complex, led the first session on “The Role of Teacher Efficiency in Enhancing the Academic Excellence of Students.” He emphasized the importance of effective teaching methods in student success.
Dr. Savitha Laxman, former Principal and Director, and an educational consultant and international trainer from Bangalore, presented on “Discovering and Supporting Academic Excellence in Students.” She highlighted ways to identify and nurture students’ academic potential.
Ms. Devakanni Subramanian, CEO of SpellBee International, discussed “English as a Tool for Academic Excellence.” She illustrated how proficiency in English can significantly contribute to students’ academic achievements.
Dr. C. Ramasubramanyan, President of Kongu Sahodaya and Director & Senior Principal of Bharani Group of Schools, conducted a session on “Efficient Procedures for Academic Excellence in Schools.” He shared effective methods and best practices for academic management.
Dr. P. Nagaraj, Professor and Head of the Department of English & Foreign Languages at Bharathiyar University, delivered the valedictory address, summarizing the day’s discussions and emphasizing the path forward for academic excellence.
Mrs.Renu, President of Tirupur Sahodaya Schools Complex graced the event with her presence.
The event honored national-level achievers, celebrating their hard work and dedication.
Dr. B.S.N. Murthy, Vice President of PSPA, concluded the conclave with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
The School Leaders Conclave was a resounding success, bringing together educational visionaries and providing a platform for sharing innovative ideas and strategies to enhance academic excellence in schools across multiple districts.
