SpaceX spacecraft toilet leak; Astronauts who used diapers
The vehicle used for space travel is called a spacecraft. Spacecraft are used in a variety of ways. Not only are humans and cargo sent into space, but they are also sent into space for telecommunications, geography, meteorology, and planetary exploration.
In that regard, the use of diapers for astronauts on their way back to Earth from the International Space Station on Sunday was caused by a broken toilet set up on the SpaceX spacecraft. NASA astronaut Megan McArthur described the problem as “manageable”. On their return to Earth, MacArthur and three other astronauts had to spend 20 hours aboard the spacecraft.
Speaking to reporters from Earth orbiter NASA astronaut Megan McArthur said, “Space travel is full of challenges. This is one of the many challenges we face in our mission. Therefore, we do not worry too much about it.” On their return to Earth, MacArthur and three other astronauts will spend 20 hours aboard the spacecraft. During their time in space, these astronauts were forced to deal with the toilet problem.
They decided to bring MacArthur and his crew to Earth after a series of consultations on Friday about space travel to investigate the situation before attempting to fix the toilet leak. Thomas Pesquet, a French astronaut returning with McArthur, said the last six months have been intense.
