Coimbatore is once again facing a surge in the COVID 19 caseload. As a precautionary measure, the District Collector Dr GS Sameeran on Monday consulted on the setting up of a special ward on the CODISSIA premises.
Various precautionary measures are being taken as the spread of the Omicron virus across India is on the rise. Precautionary arrangements are being made in Tamil Nadu as well.
As the coronavirus outbreak has started to increase again in the Coimbatore district, District Collector Sameeran went in person to inspect the -arrangement of beds and wards in the CODISSIA Complex in Coimbatore as a precautionary measure.
Consultations were also held at the Coimbatore Government Arts College campus. He also inspected the Corona Control Room, which operates at the Collectorate.
