Sri Ramakrishna college, Katral award 2021

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore bagged the Katral Award 2021 at an event held in Chennai.

Katral Awards 2021 is an initiative of News18 Tamil Nadu that recognises forward-looking contributions in the field of education in Tamilnadu that was recently held in Chennai. Twenty-two educational institutions in Tamilnadu were given News 18 Katral Awards 2021 for their contributions to the education sector.

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore received Katral Award 2021 for Innovation. Dr B.L.Shivakumar, Principal Dr D.Santhanakrishnan, Co-ordinator innovation centre of the college received the award from Mr Imayam, Tamil-language novelist.  D.Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust congratulated the students and the staff for this achievement.

The event was attended by the Governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan, Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker M. Appavu, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ma. Subramanian, former director of ISRO Satellite centre Mylswamy Annadurai, former Vice-Chancellor of Anna University D. Viswanathan and Health Secretary J. Radhakrishnan.

Sir Ramakrishna College is doing excellence in the field of education in Coimbatore. This award is an additional honour to the college.
