Sri Ramakrishna College of Nursing graduation ceremony!
Coimbatore. 6th Jan, 2017. The 30th Graduation Ceremony was celebrated in College of Nursing, SRIPMS on 6th January 2017 at the SNR Sons College Auditorium, Coimbatore.
Dr. Selva Titus Chacko, M.Sc(N), Ph.D, Dean, College of Nursing, Christian Medical College, Vellore was the Chief Guest. Shri. V. Ramakrishna, Chief Operating Officer, M/s S.N.R. Sons Charitable Trust, presided over the ceremony. Dr. T. Nirmala, Principal, College of Nursing, SRIPMS, welcomed the gathering.
A total of 10 Postgraduates and 98 Undergraduates received their degrees. Ms. Sindhuja.B of M.Sc Nursing batch of 2014-2016, Ms. Liya.P.J of Post Basic B.Sc Nursing batch of 2014-2016 and Ms. Kiruthika. P of B.Sc. Nursing batch of 2011-2015 received the Gold medals.
Dr. Selva Titus Chacko in her Chief Guest address mentioned that according to Newton.D. Baker, “The man who graduates today, and stops learning tomorrow, is uneducated the day after.” Hence, nurses must strive to keep abreast with the latest technological updates. She also urged the graduates to set standards and work towards reaching heights rather than be self satisfied with their achievements. She congratulated all the graduates on their success.
Responses were given by graduates of all the courses. Mrs.Chitra Ravikumar M.Sc (N), Assistant Professor, College of Nursing, SRIPMS delivered the vote of thanks.
