SSVM’s “Transforming India Conclave 2023” begins in Coimbatore
The second edition of the Transforming India Conclave, hosted by the Coimbatore-based Shree Sarasswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer (SSVM) Institutions, began on Friday (September 1).
This year’s theme ‘Unleash the power within you’ signifies discovering and harnessing one’s potential. It urges individuals to break free from limitations, embrace their unique abilities and unlock their full potential. The three-day thought-provoking conclave which will take place at SSVM World School, Coimbatore will have 21 +speakers,13 specially curated workshops for Students,10 + Scintillating performances and 25 + Excellence Awards.
There are two prominent awards designed to honour students and teachers. For students, ‘Studentpreneur Awards 2023’ aims to give students the platform to encourage their entrepreneurial spirit. For teachers, ‘Inspirational Guru Awards 2023’ aims to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication of teachers towards shaping the future of society.
The Distinguished Guests at the Conclave include Lt. General Ajai Kumar Singh General Officer – Commanding-in-Chief( GOC-in-C) Southern Command of the Indian Army, Thiru Kranti Kumar Patil, I.A.S., District Collector, Coimbatore, Thiru V.Balakrishnan I.P.S., Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City and Thiru M.Prathap I.A.S., Commissioner, Coimbatore Corporation.
Lt Gen. Singh said India was now at the cusp of transformation and it had become the fourth country in the world to have successfully put a lander on the moon. “Now, it has set its eye on the sun. For furthering the transformation of the country, the first and foremost thing is that we individuals should transform,” he said.
Mr. Pati said India had been shining in the service sector and with technological advancements it could export services across the world. “Our democracy and demography, with the highest youngest population in the world, are on our side”, he said.
Mr. Wangchuck said in his keynote address that safeguarding Nature would provide the solution to mitigate the adverse impact of global warming and climate change. “Curiosity, empathy and initiative are the three pillars of education which will aid personal and societal progress”, he said.
Manimekalai Mohan, founder of SSVM Institutions, said the conclave was not just an event, but a catalyst for the innovation and leadership that would shape India’s future.
This year’s conclave comprises an impressive lineup of entrepreneurs and industry leaders who will be sharing their respective subject knowledge and expertise.
