Startup Ula – the journey for aspiring entrepreneurs
StartUp உலா is a “ learning on wheels” journey for aspiring entrepreneurs. The program has been initiated by EDII TN government of Tamil Nadu to promote Startup Ecosystem and encourage new Startups in line with the Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Policy for the creation of 5000 new Startups in Tamil Nadu in 5 years time till 2023.
The StartUp உலா journey was flagged off by Mr G. Karthikeyan, CA, M/S GK Management Systems (USA & Coimbatore)

Around 30 participants along with on board journey mentors from EDII & Founder Passion Foundation -Coimbatore will start the journey from GandhiPuram, Coimbatore on 8th February 2019. The StartUp உலா is a non stop journey for 2 days. The StartUp உலா will travel through the cities of Coimbatore, Erode, Salem & Chennai.

On the wheels continuous guidance, motivational speeches & mentoring will be done by successful entrepreneurs. The participants will visit various enterprises throughout their journey in the field of Manufacturing, Agriculture, Agri-tech & relevant industries. The StartUp உலா’s objective is to prepare the aspiring entrepreneurs on the opportunities & challenges in the journey of entrepreneurship.
The StartUp உலா will act as a guiding light for entrepreneurs to understand the nuances & difficulties in running an enterprise. The StartUp உலா is aimed to bring a close connect to all the stakeholders of the entrepreneurial eco system. It’s a journey that celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship & encourages youngsters in becoming a successful entrepreneur.
