Student Induction Programme at PSGRKCW
PSGRKCW organized Student Induction Programme for the I year UG students on 24 June, 2024 at PSGRKC Alumni Golden Jubilee Auditorium. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr.Kezevino Aram, President, Shanthi Ashram. The first year UG students, their parents, Heads of Departments and faculty members attended the event.
The event began at 10 a.m. with the Welcome Address delivered by the Chairperson, Dr.R.Nandini . The Principal, Dr.P.B.Harathi then briefed the students about the institution. This was followed by the Chief Guest address delivered by Dr.Kezevino Aram, President, Shanthi Ashram. Dr.Aram spoke about the changing times underscoring how women’s education has progressed in the present. She said women should make use of this golden opportunity and fashion a future for themselves. She expressed her vision that the young generation of women will be the harbingers of change not just at the national level but also at the global level.
Two prominent alumni of KCW then addressed the students and shared their invaluable experiences – Ms.P.Geetha Priya, District Revenue Officer/ General Manager, Tamil Nadu Magnesite Ltd, Salem highlighted how students should develop their skills during their college days.
Ms.Charumathi Muralidharan, Actor, Singer and Song Writer elaborated on her invaluable college life experiences.
Ms.Parvathy R.Pillai, a student belonging to the Department of Economics also shared her current experience in the KCW campus. The event ended with a Vote of Thanks by Dr.J. Balavijayalakshmi, IQAC Coordinator, KCW.
