T20 WC – West Indies curled in 55 runs! England easily won the match
The World Cup T20 2021 matches started yesterday. England and West Indies clashed today in the second match of the Super 12.
England won the toss and elected to bowl first. The West Indies batsmen took consecutive wickets as the bowling choice was the best result. Chris Gayle is the only West Indies player to score double figures. Gayle scored 13 off 13 balls. All the other West Indies batsmen except him came out miserable in single digits. West Indies were bowled out for 55 in 14.2 overs. On behalf of the England team, Rashid took only 2.2 overs and took 4 wickets.
England scoring 56 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 8.2 overs and won the match. The West Indies are the third lowest run-scoring team in ICC World Twenty20 history. In the first two places is the Netherlands team.
