The Under-19 Cricket World Cup kicks off in Guyana. In the first match, West Indies and Australia clashed. The West Indies were bowled out for 169 in 45 overs, with Australia winning by 6 wickets.
Nivethan Radhakrishnan, who played in Australia’s Playing 11 in this tournament, is from Tamil Nadu. Since his father Anbu Selvan is a former cricketer, Nivethan has coached Radhakrishnan well.
Thus, Nevadan, who can bowl with both hands, both right and left, excels at batting. Aware of his talent, former Australia captain Ricky Ponting used Nivethan Radhakrishnan as a net bowler for the Delhi team.
He is currently a member of the Australian national cricket team and has played for the Dindigul Dragons in the ongoing DNPL cricket tournament in Tamil Nadu.
He took 3 wickets in 10 overs in the World Cup match against the West Indies today, and also scored 31 runs in batting. Nivethan Radhakrishnan’s game played a major role in Australia’s victory. Cricket fans from Tamil Nadu have been congratulating him.
