Coimbatore, Feb 8, 2025 – PSG College of Arts & Science hosted a workshop on “Tech-Driven Nutrition: Advancements in Critical Care, Dysphagia, and Digital Tools”, bringing together over 100 participants, including students, dietitians from PSG Hospitals, and faculty members from various institutions.
Renowned experts Dr. Dharini Krishnan, Consultant Dietician and Former National President of the Indian Dietetic Association, and Ms. Sreemathy Venkatraman, Founder of Mitha Aahara and Clinical & Wellness Dietician at Trustwell Hospitals, Bengaluru, led the sessions.
The workshop provided deep insights into how technological advancements are shaping nutrition practices, particularly in critical care and dysphagia management. Participants explored evidence-based practices and digital tools that enhance patient outcomes. A key highlight was the hands-on training session on food standardization for dysphagia patients, equipping attendees with practical skills.
Engaging discussions and collaborations between students and professionals further enriched the event, paving the way for future innovations in clinical nutrition and dietetics. The workshop underscored the growing role of technology in improving nutrition care and patient well-being.
