The agriculture students’ create awareness for the coconut farmers
A group of 11 final year students of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore are currently staying in Anaimalai under their village program.
They stay for a total of 75 days and evaluate the rural participation in the Rural Agricultural Work Experience Program in the villages under their jurisdiction.
In this context, the students drew a community map of Vettaikaranputhur village and explained to the public in detail where and what the main offices are located and the materials available there.
The villagers of Vettaikaranputhur welcomed and cooperated. The students continue to explain to the farmers about coconut husk, coconut tonic, high yielding fertilizers in coconut, duration and their experience.
