The copra coconut price increase at auction in Anaimalai
The weekly copra auction is held on Tuesdays at the Anaimalai Regulated Sales Hall. The auction was held accordingly. The sales were also headed by Superintendent Manivasakam.
Farmers from Pollachi, Anaimalai and surrounding areas brought copra coconuts up for auction. 98 farmers brought 651 bundles of copra to auction.
7 traders from areas including Negamam and Kangayam participated and auctioned the copra. The supply was higher and prices were higher than last week.
According to officials, the copra coconuts brought to the auction in Anaimalai were graded and auctioned.
