The DMK had betrayed the people by not fulfilling its promises: O. Panneerselvam

tn election, O. Panneerselvam

An election campaign rally was held in Sivananda Colony yesterday in support of the AIADMK candidates in the urban local government elections in the Coimbatore district. In which A.D.M.K. Coordinator O. Panneerselvam spoke in attendance.

Then he said: The Kongu Zone has been the Akku Fort of the AIADMK. The huge meeting held by former First Minister Jayalalithaa in 2011 at the Coimbatore WAC Stadium laid the foundation for the AIADMK to rule for 10 years.

Jayalalithaa is the one who got the thoughts of Periyar, Anna and MGR together. He has dedicated public welfare schemes to the people and built 5.5 lakh houses for the people. These projects are unshakable in the minds of the people.

The government led by Edappadi Palanichamy continued to carry out the plans brought by Jayalalithaa without leaving a trace. Jayalalithaa has suggested that 52 per cent of students in Tamil Nadu go for higher education.

The AIADMK government has handled the corona epidemic better. But the DMK government did not handle it properly. The DMK made false promises during the assembly elections. The DMK campaigned 505 promises on the streets. People believed it. DMK is the party that betrayed the trust of the people by not fulfilling its promises.

They said we will remove the first signature NEET selection once the regime is in place. Not done yet. They said the loan was waived if the jewellery was mortgaged for less than 5 lakh, with 50 lakh people mortgaging the jewellery. They are now examining who is eligible to write off the loan. Only 13 lakh people now claim to be eligible.
