The Flying Squadron comprising Kalpana Alamelu, Special Task Force, and Special Sub-Inspector Murugasamy were engaged in a vehicle check on the road leading to Poluvampatti in Puthur area under Thondamuthur Municipality.

At that time, they stopped the two-wheeler that came through and conducted an investigation. In it, it was revealed that he took Rs 3 lakh without proper documents. During interrogation, he was identified as Ulaganathan (age 42) of Jallikuzhi Road, Thennamanallur.

He is a member of the AIADMK in the 5th Ward in Thennamanallur Panchayat. Was also revealed to be a councillor. Authorities later confiscated the money and handed it over to Ramesh, the returning officer for the Thondamuthur municipality.

A team comprising Election Flying Officer Ramachandran and Police Sub-Inspector Senthilkumar raided the railway overpass area under Karamadai municipality.

Then they stopped the car coming from Coimbatore towards Mettupalayam and checked it. In this, it was revealed that Kandavadivel from the Saravanampatti area who came in the car took Rs. 3 lakh 51 thousand 500 without proper documents. The Flying Squad confiscated the money and handed it over to Karamadai Municipal Election Officer Balraj.

Similarly, the Flying Squadron officers conducted a surprise raid in Wellalur. Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand was confiscated at that time.
