The Government employees postal votes
Voting for the urban local elections took place on the 19th. In turn the police, teachers and civil servants were involved in the election process.
Boxes were placed in Pollachi Municipality, Suleswaranpatti, Zameenuthukuli, Samathur, Kottur, Anaimalai, Vettaikaranputhur, Odayakulam, Negamam and Kinathukkadavu municipalities for postal voting. Here government employees, police and teachers cast their ballots.
Boxes at municipal and municipal offices will be taken to the respective counting centers with heavy police security. There the box will be opened in the presence of the candidates and their agents and the postal ballot will be counted. Election officials, meanwhile, said postal voting could take place before the vote count begins.
