The Motorists suffer as garbage is set on fire

There are more than a thousand houses in the Jothampatti panchayat near Madathukulam. Garbage dumped here and waste from more than 100 shops are piled up in many places. These are burned without being disposed of.

Garbage piled up in several places on the side of the road from Kaniyur bus stand to Puthurmadam was set on fire. As a result, the entire area became a smoky zone, with smoke surrounding the roads and causing traffic congestion.

According to the public, vehicles are parked on the side of the road from the Jyoti Kovil to the Puthur Madam. There is a risk of catching fire in petrol tanks due to burning without disposing of the accumulated garbage.
