The Polio camp at 1569 places in Coimbatore
A nationwide polio vaccination camp has begun as the corona has dwindled. In turn, polio vaccination camps were held at 1,569 places in Coimbatore district. Collector Sameeran started giving polio drops to children at Coimbatore Government Hospital. Then he said: –
In Coimbatore district, 3.41 lakh children under the age of 5 were vaccinated against polio by 2021. This year 3 lakh 37 thousand children are being vaccinated against polio.
For this purpose, camps were set up at 1,190 places in rural areas and 379 places in urban areas for a total of 1569 centers such as Government Primary Health Centers, Nutrition Centers, Anganwadi Centers and Government Hospitals.
