The public is eagerly watching the 86 kg giant fish for sale at a fish shop in Coimbatore.`
Kabir hails from Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore. He runs a fish shop called ‘Mr. Fish’ near the Olympus Signal. Marine fish are brought to his shop daily not only from Tamil Nadu but also from neighboring states.
Meanwhile, fishermen went fishing in the Mangalore area of Karnataka yesterday. A giant fish called ‘Yellow Antunna’, a very rare fish, was caught in that area. The fish weighing 86 kg was brought to Kabir’s fish shop in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore for sale.
The public in the area is watching with interest. The shop owner said, ‘Earlier, a fish weighing 56 kg came for sale. For the first time we have auctioned a giant fish weighing 86 kg and brought it for sale. After cleaning the fish, you will have 50 kg of waste. It sells for Rs 250 per kg.
