Accordingly, 2040 schools were opened in the Coimbatore district including Coimbatore, Perur, SS Kulam and Pollachi education districts. Following this, the students came to the schools happily.

They were tested for body temperature with a thermal scanner and given a disinfectant. It was also announced that everyone must wear a mask and observe social space. As such the students were seated in the classroom with a social break.

After a long day, they were happy to see fellow students and expressed their happiness to each other. It seems that 90 per cent of the students came to school on the first day.

The students in the primary school cried as they went to school. Their parents persuaded them and left them in schools.
