The Wild elephants roam the Valparai residence
Wild elephant migration is on the rise in and around Valparai. Streams and rivers in the forest have dried up due to the impact of the wind.
Thus wild elephants are infiltrating the habitat in search of drinking water.
At this point 4 wild elephants left the forest in the southern section of Nadumalai Estate near Valparai. Then the elephants entered the house and roared.
Women in the area in particular broke down the door of a ration shop operating on behalf of a self-help group. Then they tried to take the bundles of rice and lentils inside the hymn.
The public who saw this immediately informed the forest department. Foresters rushed to the spot and chased the wild elephants into the forest.
