The second phase of the Tidel park in the special economic zone at Coimbatore’s vilankuruchi would be completed soon. Rapidly building at a cost of Rs 114 crore will create ample technical job opportunities. The IT minister said to TOI COIMBATORE
He added, “Every year, hundreds of youngsters, particularly from the southern districts are forced to migrate to other districts(particularly Chennai) or states in search of jobs.”
Tidel Parks -Need of the hour
This scenario can be changed by taking active measures to attract more investments to the state, which the previous government actively failed to do so. The solution is to establish more Tidel parks across the state that would help people to work locally.
The more engineering graduates and fewer opportunities are the pushing factors for steep unemployment. Hence New Tidel parks and ELCOT are the need of the hour during this pandemic situation.
