While India has been trying for a long time to reach an agreement with Sri Lanka to enter Sri Lanka’s ‘Gulf of China’, reports say that the agreement is currently being signed. It is noteworthy that this agreement will enhance the relationship, although there have been slight rifts in the relationship between the two countries.
It has been reported that the agreement was signed amid tensions between Sri Lanka and China over the ship’s presence in Sri Lankan waters, as Sri Lanka has consistently rejected harmful bacterial fertilizers.
