While there is a full curfew imposed across Tamil Nadu tomorrow, the State Government has on Saturday given a nod to weddings and the related functions that were already planned.
It has also been announced that the public will be allowed to travel by showing the wedding invitation. In the wake of the rapid spread of the Omicron variant of COVID -19 in Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister MK Stalin on January 6 announced various restrictions in the state including night curfew on all days and full curfew on Sundays.
About weddings and other such functions, it has been announced that only 100 people should be allowed. Despite a full curfew on Sunday, people travelling to attend weddings will be permitted, said a release issued by the Government today, provided they show the wedding invitation as proof.
