World Environmental Day Celebrations at KPRIET
In commemoration of World Environment Day, saplings were planted at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology as part of the celebrations.
World Environment Awareness Day was observed at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology. On this occasion, Principal, Dr. M. Saravanan, planted saplings.
The event, titled “Our Land, Our Future,” highlighted the importance of the environment, the necessity of preserving it, and the significance of planting and nurturing trees. The speech also covered the harmful effects of plastic waste and the impacts of deforestation on the environment. Furthermore, in his address, the principal emphasized the need for environmental sustainability and urged students to contribute to protecting natural resources and to value them.
The event was organized by the college’s student welfare department in collaboration with the National Service Scheme. Students and faculty from all departments participated in this program.
