Coimbatore, 12th August Glint, India’s first Hyper local doorstep car cleaning service launches its services in Coimbatore. Car owners from Coimbatore can now get doorstep car cleaning, car detailing, and other car maintenance services from the comfort of their homes. The Coimbatore business operations of Glint was launched by Dr. Hussain Ahmed, a YouTube celebrity and Managing Director of Cheran Academy at a city hotel today.

Glint is a pioneer of sustainable water management and has completed 5 lacs plus orders in Chennai thereby saving 35 Lacs plus litres of fresh water, which would have been wasted if the traditional bucket wash method was used that typically consumes around 7-10 litres of water per car wash.
For Car Owners – Glint offers professional car cleaning services at the customer’s doorstep along with complete trust and control of their car cleaning service. It comes with freedom and flexibility for the Car Owners to pick the plan and select a car-cleaning schedule of their choice.

Glint has developed an in-house standardised process for car cleaning consisting of 6-steps through which a car can be cleaned in 15-20 minutes of time. This not only keeps the car clean, also facilitates a faster and efficient cleaning process for the car care partner. The company with its operations in Chennai has upskilled over 1,000 workers and has created a decent and dignified livelihood making them earn anywhere between 8,000 to 12,000 per month with a part time job of 3-4 hours.
Glint has today over 2,000 paying monthly subscribers in Chennai making it the go to service brand when it comes to their monthly doorstep car cleaning services. Glint offers the following monthly Subscription plans for car cleaning ,
- Standard – 12 exterior shampoo cleans & alloy shines at ₹699 per month.
- Plus – 12 exterior shampoo cleans & alloy shines, 1 complete interior with vacuum and dashboard polish at ₹799 per month.
- Premium – 12 exterior shampoo cleans & alloy shines, 2 complete interior cleans, and 1 exterior hand wax coating at ₹999 per month.
The subscription includes features like pause/resume, choosing your own time slot for cleaning and rescheduling thereby giving customers complete freedom to choose plans as per their convenience starting from August 12, 2022.
The Head of Growth at Glint, Mr. Vinouth Subramanian during his interaction said that Glint is focused on bringing in better Quality, Frequency, Convenience, Reliability and Transparency to Car Owners on the regular upkeep and maintenance of the Cars and also offering flexible plans, thereby giving the car owner the freedom to choose the plan of their choice at the convenience of their doorstep. He also added that plans are afoot to expand the services pan India starting with the neighbourhood knitting city of Tirupur in the next few days.
For the partners when onboarded, Glint provides an immersive 15 days in-house training to their car care partners; upon successful completion of the training program the partners are awarded certifications and professional equipment to serve the customers. The company has plans to recruit upto 500 car care partners in Coimbatore to handle their expansion plans.
